Secure defaults beat secure docs

Every company we audit has a security guide. Almost none of the developers we meet have read it. That is not their fault: guides lose to deadlines every time.
Make the safe path the short path
If writing a safe database query takes one line and an unsafe one takes five, people write safe queries. So we build helpers, templates and lint rules that make the right thing the default.
- A query helper that only accepts parameters, never strings.
- A route template with auth and rate limits already on.
- Secrets loaded from one place, never from code.
- A CI check that fails on known vulnerable packages.
None of these need a meeting. They work on the first day a new developer joins.
