Your login page is a product

A dark phone on an amber background showing a sign-in screen with owl eyes, two input fields, a teal fingerprint and an amber button

The login page is usually built once and never touched again. Yet every customer sees it, and every attacker starts there.

Easier and safer are not opposites

Passkeys are faster than passwords and cannot be phished. Magic links remove the forgotten password flow entirely. The safest options today are often the friendliest ones.

Done well, sign-in shrinks to a single step, and the most common way accounts get taken over, a reused or phished password, stops working.

What we test

  • Time to sign in, on a slow phone.
  • What happens after five wrong attempts.
  • Whether errors reveal which accounts exist.
  • How recovery works when the phone is lost.
